How many logo designs can I create?
You can create as many logos as you want – the process is totally free! If you create a logo you love, it costs just $69 to download the high-resolution logo files.
Can I trademark my logo?
Yes. What makes a logo unique is the combination of the symbol with the company name, its colors, and their spatial relationship. Therefore, although LogoYes retains the copyright to the symbol you choose, you can still trademark your logo.

The trademark indicator (TM) provides notice that you are claiming rights to use the logo in connection with your products and/or services. To obtain federal registration (R), you will need to submit a trademark application to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. (Customers outside the United States should check local laws.)
Will the symbol I choose remain in the database after I have selected it?
Yes. LogoYes retains the rights to all other symbols, so they remain in our database. What makes a logo unique is the combination of the symbol with the company name, its colors, and their spatial relationship. This "uniqueness" enables you to trademark your logo.
What's the difference between an EPS and JPG?
An EPS file contains vector information, which means you can make it as big or small as you like without compromising print quality. It is the standard file format used by professional printers. It is the file you will need if you want to produce professional-grade print materials. NOTE: You may not be able to view the EPS version of your logo on your computer screen. Just because your EPS file displays poorly onscreen does not mean it will print badly on a printing press. Opening an EPS requires specific software.

A JPG is a compressed image file most suitable for use with your laser printer and/or on the internet. A JPG is a much smaller resolution file than an EPS and cannot be enlarged without losing detail. Therefore it is best to print a JPG at its original size only. It should not be used for professionally printed materials, as it may appear blurred or jagged.
What software programs can open an EPS file?
Opening an EPS requires certain software, so you may not be able to view your EPS onscreen. Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Freehand, Corel Draw and Hallogram HiJaak are common programs used to open and edit an EPS vector file. To display but not edit an EPS vector file, you can use Microsoft Word (Insert Picture From File) and/or Microsoft Publisher (Insert Picture from File, although not all types of EPS are supported).
Is LogoYes an SSL Secure site?
Yes.
How many colors can I use?
Choose from a full spectrum of colors on Step 5, which can be added to your symbol, company name, or both your symbol and company name.
How do I receive my business cards?
If you purchase a logo and matching business card design, you will receive a coupon for 100 free business cards. Follow the instructions that accompany the coupon. You can also download high-resolution files of your business card design to print yourself.
How do I receive my logo once I purchase it?
You can download your high-resolution files instantly. You will receive EPS, JPG and GIF files.
What if I can't find the right symbol for my company?
For a nominal fee, we'll create a Custom Logo based on your specifications. Custom Logos are available for purchase off the Home Page, using the top link, "Custom Logo Design."
What kinds of symbols will be available to me for use in creating my logo?
Our vast library of over 20,000 symbols includes objects (like an apple), abstract designs (like a "swoosh"), and alphanumeric symbols (like an "A") in a variety of illustrative styles. You can search by industry, keyword, and/or image.
Can I save the logo I create and make changes later?
For $69, you can save your logo design for future refinements, and then download the high-resolution files when you're ready. You can save up to two (2) logo designs at a time, then invite friends and colleagues to give you feedback on which one they like best.
What's your "try-before-you-buy" process?
Just five quick steps and you're done with your logo: 1) Choose an image (look), 2) Find your industry, 3) Select a symbol, 4) Add your company name, and 5) Create a layout with color. Create a matching business card design in just 2 additional, easy steps – the process is seamless. You pay only if you want high-resolution files of your logo and/or business card design.
I'm not a designer. Can I do this?
